What to Expect

You will be assigned to a department based on your skills, training, and interests. Mission Crew members live in a dorm-style setting, enjoy delicious meals prepared by our kitchen team, and are part of JOY’s Mission Crew Care Program – a unique initiative designed to help you grow personally, professionally, spiritually, and socially.

Mission Crew Care Program Includes:

Compensation & Benefits

We believe in rewarding service and offering flexible ways to engage in ministry.

100% Volunteer

Earn a letter of recognition for your service, which can be used toward high school volunteer hours, scholarships, and bursaries.

Paid Volunteer

Receive a financial gift of appreciation while still earning volunteer hours. A minimum four-week commitment is required.

Paid Crew Members

A select number of senior positions receive student/minimum wage. (Note: Volunteer hours do not apply to paid roles.)
