Explore Family Camp is the perfect way to introduce your child to the joy of camp while allowing the whole family to rest, rejuvenate, and reconnect. It’s a vacation for parents, an adventure for kids, and a foundation for family growth—all wrapped into one incredible week at Joy Bible Camp.

Young Explorer campers (ages 6-10) will experience day camp programming filled with
adventure and faith-building activities, all while parents enjoy their own time to relax, recharge, and participate in the Family Camp experience. Each evening, families come together for worship, engaging activities, and meaningful moments that strengthen the bond of faith and family.

This unique experience sets the tone for a lifetime of adventure and connection, giving kids a safe and exciting first taste of camp while parents enjoy their own spiritual retreat.

Note: An adult must attend Family Camp with an Explorer camper if staying overnight. Explorer campers stay in accommodations with their families and do not bunk in cabins with other campers.

About Our Speaker

Joel Miles is the Pastoral Co-Lead at North Park Community Church in London, Ontario. He is dedicated to clear, thoughtful biblical teaching that connects faith to everyday life. Joel has a deep passion for spiritual formation and helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus. He brings a pastoral heart to leadership, walking alongside individuals in all stages of life. Joel plays a key role in shaping the church’s vision and guiding its spiritual direction.

Campers will participate in team activities, chapel services, crafts, water sports, and more.  Lunch is provided daily.  

***Campers and their families are invited to join us for our carnival night and our special presentation night!***

  • Camper drop off at 9 a.m. at Fireside Lodge
  • Camper pick up at 4:00 p.m. at Fireside Lodge
