About Our Speakers

Pastor Doug Blair accepted the Lord at just eight years old and was baptized at fifteen, beginning a lifelong journey of faith and service. By age eleven, he sensed a clear calling to devote his life to ministry, a conviction that guided his steps into pastoral leadership.

After completing university, Pastor Blair began his ministry in Pembroke, Ontario, where he faithfully pastored a local church for ten years. Following God’s leading, he later moved to Sarnia to begin a new church plant. He served as pastor there for many years until his retirement, leaving a lasting legacy of biblical teaching, compassion, and community impact.

Pastor Blair has been married to his wife, Deedra, for 60 years. Together they have raised three sons and enjoy the blessing of one grandson. Beyond his pastoral roles, he has been deeply committed to pro-life and family-centered ministry, serving as chair for both Fight for Life and Pregnancy Care Canada.

Today, Pastor Doug Blair continues to serve the Lord as an Elder at Temple Baptist Church, offering wisdom, encouragement, and steadfast leadership to the congregation he loves.
