Joy Bible Camp’s family camp is a vibrant and faith-filled getaway where families grow closer to God and each other. Each day begins with a morning chapel service featuring worship, prayer, and an encouraging message to start the day spiritually refreshed. Afternoons are packed with fun family activities like volleyball, archery, sandcastles contests, regatta’s and exciting water sports such as waterskiing and tubing. For those who prefer a more relaxed pace, mini golf and strolls around the camp offer time to connect and unwind. Kids and parents alike love visiting the tuck shop for treats and snacks between activities. The camp atmosphere fosters community, laughter, and lasting memories grounded in Christian values. By the end of the week, families leave renewed in faith, strengthened in relationships, and filled with joyful experiences.

About Our Speaker
Dr. Shaun Turner, CD, serves as the Lead Pastor of West Guilford Baptist Church, having taken up the role in June 2022. He is a retired military chaplain with roots in the Haliburton Highlands, where he also grew up. His ministry emphasizes preaching, teaching, leadership, and vision, and he is deeply involved in church administration, sermons, visitation, and Bible studies. Pastor Turner is married to Amy, co-minister alongside him, and together they have four children who are a visible and joyful presence in the church community. Beyond his pastoral responsibilities, he shares a devotion to fostering spiritual growth and family engagement within the congregation.
