SITE AND FACILITIES MAINTENANCE MANAGER
We have an immediate opening for a full-time site and facilities manager. The job entails leadership towards our commitment to renew | repair | rebuild the ministry by overseeing the intentional stewardship of the developed assets, property and infrastructure.
Job Outline:
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, exceptionally organised, and able to project plan and manage with a desire to learn and develop skills. The camp infrastructure and assets need a comprehensive plan and implementation schedule to ready the camp for its next season of ministry. A full-time Site and Facilities Manager will need to develop a team of assistants, service providers and volunteers to support them to maintain the general maintenance of the buildings, systems, grounds, vehicles, machinery, forestry, waterfront and custodial services. The candidate needs strong organisational skills to plan and execute urgent, medium and long-term goals. The manager must identify challenges and opportunities while preempting risks and vulnerabilities and work towards continually improving all aspects of the camp.
Location and Terms:
The position is a full-time, salaried, seven-day flexible work-week (scheduled off days based on operational demands) at Joy Bible Camp, Bancroft, Ontario. (Housing is negotiable)
Personal Development commitment:
The candidate will need to achieve the following:
1.) Operations of Small Drinking water systems certification. (within six weeks)
2.) General knowledge of Forestry management (through local experts over time)
3.) Boating training and license. (Within one year)
4.) Legislated compliance requirements that may arise.

At Joy Bible Camp, we recognise a skilled candidate has an earning potential that exceeds the base allowance. At Joy Bible Camp, we encourage personal support salary fundraising up to 35% above the base salary offer. All donors will receive a tax receipt for contributions made.
