So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Colossians 2: 6-7

Speaker: Tess Scott
Bio:
Tess Scott is a speaker, an award-winning author, and a former black sheep turned “Jesus Girl.” She’s on a mission to encourage other women with messy stories that they are not alone. With humour and vulnerability, this mom of 8 shares hilarious stories of God’s faithfulness through the ups and downs of life.

We invite you to join us on Thursday, June 8th, starting at 10 am for our annual Ladies’ Day. This event is one of JOY’s longest-standing traditions, a gathering of ladies who support the camp through fundraising and prayer.

To help us prepare the camp gardens for the summer, we ask if each lady attending would donate a treasure from their own garden; whether it be bulbs that need to be split, a prolific shrub, a favourite perennial or a tray of seedlings.

You can expect:

  • A delicious JOY lunch & treats
  • Silent Auction – please bring an item to contribute
  • Purchase JOY baked goods
  • Enjoying JOY’s activities
  • Focused prayer time for the ministry of JOY
  • Ministry update from JOY’s Directors
  • Worship service with speaker Tess Scott
